Idle Dice
More games to play
Idle Dice is a free browser clicker game where you roll dice to earn points, spend points on more dice and upgrades, and let auto-roll handle the grinding while you are away. No download or account needed, it runs in any browser including on school or work networks that allow web games. The twist over most idle games is the dice combo system. Matching numbers across your dice triggers card-game patterns like three of a kind, full house, and straight, each paying out a multiplier on top of the base roll value.
What is Idle Dice?
Idle Dice is an incremental clicker game by Luts91, released in November 2018. You start with one die, click to roll it, and collect the points shown. Those points buy more dice and upgrades that raise how much each roll earns. As your dice pool grows, matching results across multiple dice unlock combo bonuses that follow card-game patterns, so the game rewards both quantity and lucky rolls. An auto-roll feature eventually takes over the clicking, and offline idle earnings mean your score keeps climbing even with the browser tab closed.
How to play
The left mouse button does everything. On mobile the tap controls work the same way.
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Roll all dice | Left click the Roll button |
| Buy a die or upgrade | Left click the item in the shop panel |
| Collect daily bonus | Click the bonus prompt when it appears |
| Let rolls happen automatically | Purchase the auto-roll upgrade |
Combo scoring: from pairs to straights
When you roll multiple dice at once, the results are compared for matching patterns. Higher-tier combos multiply your points by a larger amount than the raw face values would.
| Combo | How to get it | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Three of a kind | Three dice show the same number | Points multiplier on the roll |
| Full house | Three matching plus two matching | Higher multiplier than three of a kind |
| Straight | Dice show a consecutive sequence | Multiplier for ordered results |
| Higher combos | Larger matching or sequential sets | Scales up as you add more dice |
Upgrades, auto-roll, and idle rewards
Spending points unlocks more dice and upgrade tiers that raise the value of each roll. The auto-roll upgrade starts the dice rolling at a fixed interval without any clicks, which matters most when you step away. The game also gives daily bonus points for returning each day, grants offline earnings based on how long you were gone, and awards achievements that attach permanent bonuses to your run. Checking in daily and claiming achievements as they unlock is a reliable way to compound your score faster.
Quick tips for faster progress
- Unlock auto-roll early. Manual clicking does not keep up once you have several dice.
- Prioritize upgrades that boost the value of every roll over buying one extra die. A per-roll multiplier pays off more over time.
- Come back daily for the bonus points. They scale with your progress and add up noticeably over a week.
- Chase achievements actively. Each one grants a bonus that applies immediately, so the order you unlock them matters less than actually getting them.
